It is November as I write this and 2025 is quickly coming to an end. I have been thinking about ways to end the year and start the new one with as much impact as possible.

One way would be to create or commission a visual to commemorate your work achievements of the past year or your goals for 2026. Some ideas for themes are:

  • End of Year Recap of 2025 Accomplishments

  • Employee Recognition and Appreciation

  • 2026 Plans and Goals

A hand drawn image with three smaller hand drawn images, all representing a possible visualization of the past year or goals for the upcoming year. The images are colorful and contain text and illustrations.

On the personal side, the other day I heard an idea about creating a fun BINGO card for the year. You can fill it with low stakes things that you want to try or do, and decide on rewards for yourself when you complete a row. I like the idea of keeping this one light- there are enough hard things going on these days! Some ideas for your BINGO card are:

  • Try a new cuisine (at a restaurant or follow a recipe)

  • Learn a new dance move

  • Teach your pet a new trick

  • Try a new flavor of tea

  • Bake a loaf of fresh bread

  • Read a book from a new to you genre

  • Send a letter in the mail just for fun

  • Blow bubbles

  • Visit a park you haven’t been to (ever, or in a long time)

  • Try a new kind of puzzle

  • Go to a concert

  • Take pictures using a film camera

I made a 2026 BINGO card and have it placed below. It is available both as a jpeg and pdf file.

As for me, I have been working on some great projects! Illustrations for an art installation are in the works- I am really excited to share about this when it is done. I also was invited to join the Vail Valley Foundation as they held their Beyond the Path Summit about career pathways for local youth. It was a vibrant day of inspirational stories, great advice, and networking.

If you have an event coming up that would benefit from live graphic recording, don’t wait to contact me! Sign up now and lock in at 2025 rates.

All my best,

Ellen
